This book got me into puree-ing again. It's a huge relief to know that my pre-schooler and JK boys are finally eating their veggies.
Some of these recipes are quite ambitious (nobody went near the disastrous and somewhat labour intensive tofu squares). However, I appreciate Jessica's tips for easing one into the covert operation of sneaking veggies into your tried-and-true dishes. The chick pea cookies (+ a little PB)were an AMAZING success at home and at work!
Her organization and storage ideas suited us very well, as both DH and I work full-time and have long commutes.
Vegetables - not every kid's cup of tea. But as long as you eat them, it doesn't matter how or or in what foods they end up. This book is chalk full of wonderful ideas for making and serving healthy food the whole family will eat. The secret is getting back into the kitchen. Highly recommended reading for families.
Awesome ideas to get picky eaters (including my husband) to eat very healthy i.e. carrots in cookies!
I love this book!
