A story of how they met and how their marriaged was before they got into the white house...A good read for anyone wanting an inside look at how the Obamas truly are!

This book was mostly what we Obama fans have already heard or read elsewhere but there were a few photos I hadn’t seen elsewhere and I learned a few new things. Such as how witty both Barack and Michelle Obama are, if we can rely on the quotations the author provides. (I’m always a bit leery of books like this that just give source information for each chapter as a whole rather than for specific statements.)
The author of this “Portrait of an American Marriage writes about the tensions in the Obama marriage caused by Barack's political ambitions but also makes it clear that the love and devotion Barack and Michelle have for each other is strong and steadfast. Here's hoping they live in the White House for eight years!
