Better than the first. The mythology is intriguing, the characters are strong, and the story engaging with thankfully far fewer phobia lists. (Note: The narrator for the audiobook was atrocious, throwing in gratuitous accents, I couldn't even finish the first chapter.)

I actually loved the book, and yes even though it was an unexpected ending I thought that it made it all the better. Who would think that, that would happen. I can't wait for the next book entice. I fell so in love of the characters it is like a piece of my heart is missing until I read them again. Looking forward to it. If you want more great books by other authors then look at my list. :D

Interesting twist in the story that I didn't see coming (and honestly did not WANT). The same narrator does this audiobook as Need, so if you're like me and weren't a fan of that narrator, you'll have to suffer through her dramatic reading yet again. Definitely a cliff-hanger book, although not an overly exciting ending. You're left wanting to know what happens but not overly excited about the next book.
