Where did all these pieces of paper come from? Who do they belong to? The chicken is sure that they belong to him, but so is the fish, and so is the bird, and the snail, and the frog… Using the same small scraps of paper over and over again to create a new animal on each page, Édouard Manceau has created a timeless cumulative tale that will delight and enchant children as they try to figure out just who the pieces of paper do belong to…

An interesting concept that uses pieces of coloured paper blown by the wind to change into different animals. It's a good introduction to inspire children to create their own animals with scraps of paper - unleashing endless creativity.

A fun book to read aloud.

I love this book! Cut out some paper shapes and you can continue the story yourself. :-)

Simple and cute.

Windblown is one of my favorite picture books this year. The theme of this story need not (and I would argue SHOULD not) be contained to the book. Cut the pieces out, and the sky is the limit.

Great for imaginations! I wish I had cut out colored pieces of paper for my toddler to play with after I read him this book. I think it would have engaged him for quite awhile.

A few scraps of paper can become many things with the help of your imagination.
