Explores the ecology of Admiralty Island, Alaska which supports the densest breeding population of grizzlies/brown bears and bald eagles, and the largest old-growth forest tract in south-east Alaska. Looks at the abundant wildlife and food supply due to the pristine ocean shores, intertidal zones, streams and estuaries, but focusses on the two animals that dominate the food chain: grizzlies and bald eagles. Hunting and ecotourism is monitored closely.
