This episode of W5 exposes the living conditions of the Sekani People in northern British Columbia, who do not live on a reserve. Their tribe has applied for reserve status which would provide them with needed funds for improvements to living conditions; and they also require employment opportunities. CMHA, the British Columbia government and the Canadian governments have provided some funds but the people are still pursuing reserve status.
