For what it is, it is entertaining enough. It is targeted to teens and reads as such. The story is reminiscent of a Wes Craven film--gory and not terribly realistic, but with a real jump feature Craven fans love in horror. I found the title a little misleading, and the plot could have used some "fleshing" out for the back story. Still, I read it through in two days, and my oldest is now reading it. OK read if you don't expect too much.
