I first read this book as a teen (before Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon). I knew this was science fiction but I was amazed how the author could paint me such a mental picture with the words on the page. I was hooked and read a number of her books following this one. If you are into science fiction, time travel, and space travel, you shouldn't pass up this book.
