One of the rare times, when the movies are a thousand times superior to the books, is the trilogy of Jason Bourne movies starring Matt Damon --- the scripting was superb! Ludlum's books have always been quintessentailly stupid, moronic, insipid, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera! Completely agree with commenter jimbedley below!

So bad. So very, very bad. The dialogue will make you nauseous, the author thinks the reader is an idiot so he feels he has to constantly remind you of who everyone is. The plot makes no sense - things happen magically for no logical reason. I can't go on. As one library staffer told me "the movies are great but the books suck". Amen.

Another Monster of a Book. Great story line.
