A nice spin off read of Pride & Predjudice! I am enjoying reading the story from Darcy's point of view. Aidan has done a great job of bringing me into an “Austen” like world.
I totally enjoyed this twist on Pride And Prejudice told from Darcy's point of view.
The language and manner of speaking is the same as in the Jane Austen classic.
I could not stand Mrs. Bennet or Caroline Bingley, but Darcy's valet Fletcher is a riot, and I love this Darcy.
This is only 1/3 of the Pride And Prejudice story, hence there are 2 more volumes by Pamela Aiden that i am looking forward to reading!
Highly recommended to those who love Pride And Prejudice and who think they would enjoy reading Darcy's POV.I don't believe Pamela Aiden's version can be topped.
I enjoy the trilogy, and agree that the second title is weaker. The pleasure in the second one is the developing relationship between Mr. Darcy and his valet. This isn't often pursued in JAFF, and I found it very entertaining.
I thought this first one was good. I like the concept, but like WendyGD, I think stretching it into a trilogy too bad. The second one wasn't nearly as well done.
This was an enjoyable book, telling the Pride & Prejudice story from Mr. Darcy's point of view. Unfortunately, this is the first of a trilogy, and the other two books aren't as good.
A great tale concentrating on Darcy and the time he met the lovely Elizabeth
This trio of books is perfect for the person who finished P&P and thought only "I wish there was more Darcy!!!!"
