This was the first book that I ever bought with my own money. Sal drew me in with her absent-mindedness and her jovial energy.

We loved reading this together and then my daughters took turns following along with the cd!

A classic children's story that stands the test of time. Try it out with your kids and I bet they love the story!

A classic from my childhood and still relevant to children and families today. The illustrations are unique and add to the experience.

Kuplink! Kuplank! Kuplunk! Blueberries for Sal is the delightful story of Little Sal and Little Bear and their mothers, all gathering blueberries one afternoon on Blueberry Hill. I love that the bears in this story aren't scary or dangerous, just a loving mother and her child trying to eat their fill before winter. Sweet and timeless.

I remember checking this out from my school library over and over when I was little.

It's one I like to read to my own kids now :)

I know it's a classic, but I still wish it could have full-colour illustrations

Enduring children's classic about preparing for winter that still works well for modern readers.
