This was an excellent read. It is gripping and powerful. While I realize it is just one man's hypothesis on what the spirit world may be like, it is an eye-opener to those of us who tend to play it down. This book also keys on the power of prayer.

A wonderful, amazing story! I read it first decades ago, referenced it in our small group recently, and decided I had to read again. It's some of the best encouragement to pray as anything.

AWESOME!!!! This was the first Frank Peretti book I ever read, and I still think I is amazing. Do NOT start this in the evening, you will be up all night reading! If you have never read any books about spiritual warfare, start here. Peretti gives us a riveting adventure full of suspense and supernatural protection. MUST-READ!!

Highly recommend! This is one of my favorite reads. I have probably read it close to 15 times. I love the spiritual battles, especially when we win! I wish there were more books like this.

I LOVED IT!! To some this might be a difficult read because Peretti describes everything to the T, and there is much description and wording. But come on who doesn't want description. Trust me, you don't have to be a christian to love this one. I recommend you read it. I will definitely read this one again.

A book to be read again. Enlightening, uplifting, powerful, sometimes terrifying.

This book helped me realize that Peretti's genre is definitely not for me. I gave him a fair chance (this is the second book by him that I read) and I found both of them mediocre at best. This one in particular seemed like a Christian fiction version of the Avengers

This is the first Peretti novel I have read. I will read more. Peretti gives vision to the idea of the spiritual battles that rage all around us, yet, remain unseen by human eyes.

This novel spoke to me about my spirtual walk and how unseen forces fight for my salvation and against it.

I gave the novel four (4) stars instead of five (5) because Peretti can sometimes be wordy and drag out a story. That is a minor point when compaired to the message of the book.

Highly recommended.

Then Hank talked about Jesus, and showed Marshall that this Man whose name was so casually thrown around and even trampled upon in the world was far more than just a religious symbol, a lofty untouchable personality in a stained-glass window. He was the very real, very alive, very personal Son of God, and He could be the personal Lord and Savior of anyone who asked Him to be.

Too many people don't know--or don't want to know--what the truth is anymore. We don't stand for something, so we fall for anything...
