Already convinced about the power of evolution, I was disappointed by Dawkins's book. It didn't "seduce" me, which is the word he uses when telling us that he intends one of the early chapters as a "seduction of the mind," a seduction, one guesses, that will lead the reader to a complete surrender to Dawkins's argument. For evolution to become more acceptable to many of us --- such as the 44% of Americans (presumably fundamentalist Christians) or the 50+% of Turks (presumably fundamentalist Muslims) whom Dawkins cites as not caring for the idea that humans are continuous with all the other forms of life on this planet, some other presentation might help. I'm not sure what!
