Good story, but I began to dislike all the characters. Maxon always talked like a fkboi so when he explained his relationship with Celeste at the end, I couldn't have been validated more. The things that made America stick out in the beginning of The Selection now made her publicly unpopular and a disappointment in my eyes such as aggression, impulsiveness, spitefulness, stubbornness, unrefinement, and inability to read the situation. I have personally encountered undesirable people like this in real life so I felt especially annoyed at how America came to show her true colors. The story was still very engaging as there was many more trials of competition and rebel attacks. The tension was much more heightened so I felt it difficult to put down this book as I am very much addicted to drama llama.
