This is a pinnacle achievement! A comprehensive, investigative summary of some 30 years by the authors in the pursuit of their story: Americans pushed to the margins. Excellent photographs help give depth and texture to the harrowing narratives that are relayed in the text. Multiple towns and instances are pursued in the intent of bringing us the story, you can tell the authors put their soul into the message they present to the reader. Touches on issues such as class, race, immigration, politics, and many more pressing currents that affect our world.
