Unbelievably bad writing made me give up half way through. If my other reserved books had been ready earlier, I would have stopped sooner. The idea here is to follow the clues, but the author doesn't have a clue (ok, bad pun) on how to do that, so she doesn't really bother. The author apparently doesn't like good-looking men (reiterated in the Etruscan Chimera) so you know who is going to get killed. I like the idea of trying to incorporate a bit of Irish legends (which seem pretty bad) and history, but it just doesn't work here.
